Hi, I’m Rebecca Garrett, co-founder of First Response Realty, and I’m proud to serve Carstairs, Airdrie, and the surrounding communities alongside my husband and business partner, Kurtis.

I was born and raised in Southampton, England, and moved to Canada when I was 13 years old. Growing up between two countries shaped who I am today — adaptable, grounded, and deeply appreciative of what “home” truly means. Alberta has been home for many years now, and this community is where we’ve chosen to raise our family and build our lives.

Before real estate, I worked as a paramedic, a role that deeply influences how I support my clients today. Being a paramedic taught me how to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly during stressful situations, and advocate for people when they need guidance the most. Those skills translate naturally into real estate — especially during emotional or high-stakes moments where thoughtful advice and steady support matter.

We’re a husband-and-wife real estate team with strong local roots and a shared belief that buying or selling a home should feel informed, supported, and never rushed. Our approach is education-first and no-pressure, because we believe confident decisions come from understanding, not urgency.

As a local mom of three, I understand how personal a move can be. Whether it’s upsizing for a growing family, downsizing, or navigating a major life change, my priority is always the same: protecting my clients’ best interests and helping them feel confident in every step of the process.
